Countdown to Kitty Hawk Website Unveils New Look and Content
December 17, 2002 - EAA’s Countdown to Kitty Hawk website, www.countdowntokittyhawk.com, has a new look and feel beginning today, December 17, the 99th anniversary of the Wright brothers’ first powered flight. The website redesign includes new content and is easier to navigate. Users can easily find information regarding “Countdown” events associated with EAA’s 2003 national touring pavilion, multimedia content, plus information about EAA’s authentic reproduction of the 1903 Wright Flyer, which will fly on the Centennial at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina – December 17th 2003. The website also features a real-time countdown clock clicking down the seconds, hours, and days as we close in on the centennial. EAA’s Countdown to Kitty Hawk is presented by Ford Motor Company with supporting sponsorship by Microsoft Flight Simulator and Eclipse Aviation.
