Eclipse Aviation is honored to present the Greatest Aviation Innovations of the First 100 Years, in partnership with EAA. From the thousands of breakthroughs that have occurred since the Wright brothers' first flight, our blue-ribbon panel has selected 10 finalists - those aircraft and technical innovations that have most significantly impacted commercial and recreational aviation.

Please join us in celebrating these innovations, and in keeping the spirit of invention alive.

The grand prize winner was selected at the NBAA Convention in Orlando, Florida on October 9. Congratulations to the jet engine, voted the greatest aviation innovation.
